I have to say that I have the best job in the world! I work for Morris Murdock Travel and we specialize in making our client’s vacation dreams come true. So yes, I get to travel and see the world as well. I think one of the best ways to experience the beauty and culture of other countries is by taking a cruise.

I have cruised a lot! I won’t tell you the exact number of the cruises I have taken as it might sound boastful, but let’s just say “my cup runneth over”! So, when I say that my wife and I just returned from one of the best cruises we have even taken, this really means something! I have always wanted to visit the Greek Isles and surrounding area and we decided 2015 would be the year. We booked a 7-day cruise on the Celebrity Equinox and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! There were two reasons our trip was so special: Celebrity Cruise Lines and the destination.

Well, I finally did it! I stepped out of my comfort zone of me being in control of my own adventure. I decided to leave it up to the big "Fun Ships" of Carnival Cruise line to sail me away and show me what they’ve got. Let me tell you, ADVENTURE awaits and is plentiful.

Even though I’ve sold thousands of cruises, attend seminars and trainings I had my own hesitations, but now that I have this sailing under my belt I can tell you all my concerns have floated away.

My biggest reservation about cruising was there wouldn’t be enough ADVENTURE on board. Well duh, there is actually a ship named the ADVENTURE OF THE SEAS!

I had never really thought about doing a River Cruise to see Europe. I have to say after having this wonderful experience to cruise down the Rhine River, I would go on another one in a second. Our cruise was booked through Uniworld and our boat was called the River Empress.

We started our journey in Amsterdam and were met by a Uniworld representative to transfer us to the boat. Upon arriving to the boat (mini cruise ship) I was in awe to see these boats lined up along the river and realize how big the river really is. We were welcomed by a friendly staff and couldn’t believe how easy the check in was.

Whether it is an unexpected outcome, or something that stirs a fond memory of days gone by, or the simple pleasure of seeing a face of a child light up – Disney knows how to do it!

I was finally fortunate enough to sail on Disney’s newest ship, the Fantasy. I have visited Disney World and Disneyland several times and have consistently been “wow’d” at the great lengths they take to care for their guests. The short experience on the Fantasy (and all the Disney ships), just adds to the ways we can take advantage of Disney’s hospitality and most importantly, Disney’s magic!
